Charged Particles is a protocol that allows users to deposit ERC-20, ERC-721, or ERC-1155 tokens into an NFT, enabling it to hold other tokens and have programmable interest. The protocol offers customizable configurations, such as time-locks, charge and discharge options, and mass removal configurations. The NFTs created through Charged Particles can still be sold on popular marketplaces while also establishing an independent asset class of "charged" NFTs. This creates a new aspect of the "DeFi lego block economy" and changes the game for NFTs. Yield-bearing aTokens from Aave will be the primary interest-bearing asset available.
