Aquarius is a fork of the Liquity protocol that aims to bring the benefits of the protocol to the Fantom network with a new tokenomics design. It allows users to stake FTM assets to mint aUSD stablecoins with zero interest fees, and has a minimum collateral ratio of 110% to make more efficient use of deposited FTM. The protocol is fully automated and decentralized, and supports redemptions of aUSD for underlying collateral. Token holders can earn fees on borrowing, redemption, and transfer. Aquarius aims to become the fundamental financial infrastructure in the Fantom network and to establish aUSD as an important stablecoin asset.
