Conflux is a hybrid first-layer consensus blockchain, combining proof-of-work (PoW) and proof-of-stake (PoS) for fast, decentralized dApp support. It features a Tree-Graph structure, enabling parallel processing and higher throughput than linear blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The consensus mechanism, Greedy Heaviest Adaptive Sub-Tree (GHAST), manages transaction execution order and enhances security by detecting and preventing chain attacks.
